Step-by-Step Benefit Process

Step 1: Apply for the GI Bill and related benefits
Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website to learn more about how you can apply for the GI Bill and other VA education benefits.
Step 2: Check to see if your program of interest is VA approved at Rowan University
Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website, go to New Jersey, then Rowan University, and select the "Programs" tab. Undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as graduate certificates, will be listed under IHL. Undergraduate certificates can be found under NCD.

If you have been admitted to Rowan University, congratulations! Be sure to follow the steps below to support your onboarding process.
Step 1: Complete New Student Onboarding
Congratulations on your acceptance to Rowan University! We recommend that you complete the new student onboarding process as it is outlined by the Office of Military Affairs.
Step 2: Submit all paperwork for onboarding
The three forms you will need to complete include the Military Services Semester Form, Military Services-Consent for Release of Information, and Military Services-Onboarding Acknowledgement. In addition you may need to submit other supporting documents such as certificate of eligibility (COE), DD-214, etc. These documents can be submitted in the Military Services-Upload Form.
Step 3: Complete your New Student Checklist and register for Orientation
Be sure to complete your New Student Checklist and don't forget to register for Orientation!
