The online bachelor's in law and justice degree program requires you to complete 120 total credits, with at least 30 credits at Rowan University. Pursue the degree on a full-time schedule and graduate in as little as four years, or you can take courses part-time to fit your life and responsibilities. Whether you're just starting your degree or transferring in with previous credits, this program offers the flexibility to move at your own pace.
Within the program, you’ll gain a well-rounded understanding of the justice system and its functions at the local, state and federal levels. Course topics include criminological theory, legal structures and justice policy, as well as writing, research and critical thinking skills. And you have the option to select a complementary concentration in community corrections, crime mapping and crime analysis or forensic studies.
As part of the law and justice program, you must complete at least one internship experience, and you have the option to do a second if you choose. You can complete your internship in a local legal setting that aligns with your interests and goals. Your advisor and faculty members will provide guidance throughout the process to help you find the right fit.
