Admission Requirements
To begin the admission process for Rowan’s MSN program, you must submit the following application materials. Once you apply, a representative from the Rowan University Office of Admissions will reach out to confirm your application or notify you of any missing information. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program.
- Completed online application
- Completed foundation courses
- Comprehensive Health Assessment and Research Applications in Nursing Practice. (the MSN Academic Advisor will determine foundation course equivalencies)
- $65 (U.S.) non-refundable application fee
- Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Nursing from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Current professional resume
- Copy of valid CPR card (must be updated every two years and sent the Department of Nursing)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned; presented in a sealed official envelope)
- Proof of current (U.S), valid RN license (must maintain active New Jersey RN license the duration of the program)
- Two letters of recommendation from professional sources
- Individual Professional Malpractice Insurance (required at time of application and must be maintained the duration of the program)
Tuition and Aid
