Research Integrity and Compliance

An awareness of all the current guidelines and practices of the responsible conduct of research is critical to research activities at Rowan University. So, Rowan's research compliance programs provide support and education for faculty members, students, and staff in regulatory requirements for scientific research. The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) offers free online training and certification for administrators, faculty, and students in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) in all academic fields. Please go to http://citiprogram.org for more information and to register for these courses.

New Invention Disclosure Form

Rowan University’s intellectual property policy states that “University employees are required to file an invention disclosure form when intellectual property has been developed and protection may be warranted." The Research Office has developed a simplified invention disclosure form (download here) for use by all faculty. This form supersedes the previous disclosure form. Please submit completed form to the Associate Provost for Research, Bole Hall, either as hard copy or electronically with signatures.
