Facilities
The Chamberlain Student Center is the hub of student activities. It houses the Student Government Association(SGA) and other student organizations, Prof's Place snack bar and game room, the Marketplace dining hall, the Food Court, the Market Basket convenience store, the Owl's Nest restaurant, and Jazzman's Coffeehouse.
Rowan University's six-story Campbell Library is the largest in southern New Jersey. The library provides on-line access to book, periodical and selected newspaper holdings. It opened in February 1995 and houses more than 350,000 books, documents and multimedia materials.
The Rec Center is a comprehensive recreational sports facility that houses a pool, running track, racquetball courts and a multi-sport gym. Activities offered include intramural sports, fitness activities, and a variety of programs.
The Science Building is host to the Edelman Planetarium, which is managed by the Department of Physics & Astronomy. The Planetarium presents a series of Astronomical programs and Laser light shows throughout the year.
The Rowan University Bookstore is a one-stop campus shop for textbooks, computer software, school and art supplies, and Rowan branded apparel.
All of the campus academic buildings, student residences and recreational facilities are Wi-fi enabled. Additionally there are computer labs, complete with printing services, available throughout campus, including a 24-hour lab in Mimosa Hall.
