Rowan reschedules free stargazing party

The Physics & Astronomy Department at Rowan University will host a public viewing/stargazing party in Science Hall and the Edelman Planetarium on Wednesday, December 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. A previous event had been cancelled due to weather.

The department will hold a 15-minute "Sky Tonight" planetarium presentation at 7:30 and 8 p.m. and a "Sky Tour" on the rooftop, starting at 7 p.m. and running every 15 minutes until 9 p.m., with several telescopes available for public viewing. Visitors should be able to observe planets, binary stars and galaxies.
