Rowan University will hold Fourth Annual Health and Wellness FairMarch 24, 2000
Glassboro-Rowan University's Recreation Center and the Rowan
University Student Chapter of the Association for Worksite Health
Promotion (AWHP) will sponsor Rowan University's Fourth Annual Health
and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the
Student Recreation Center.
AWHP-certified students will conduct cholesterol and blood pressure
screenings. More than 25 vendors will provide information on a variety of
health/wellness concerns, and some will offer screenings. Among the
areas covered will be chiropractic services, vision screening, nutrition
information, mini massages, diabetes education, dermatology, yoga,
depression, injury assessment, body imaging, osteopathic education,
x-ray evaluations, wellness assessments, cardiac rehab and pulmonary
AWHP and the Recreation Center want to promote health and wellness
throughout the community and help people adopt healthier lifestyles. The
health fair is free and open to students, faculty and community members.
