Impact of theologized image of science on global warming is subject of Rowan talkOctober 30, 2009
Former Swarthmore College professor William Mark Goodwin will discuss arguments about the predictive powers of global climate models during a talk on Friday, Nov. 6, at Rowan University.
Goodwin's talk--"How does the theologizing of physics contribute to global warming?"--begins at 1:45 p.m. in the auditorium of Rowan Hall.
Currently a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Rowan, Goodwin earned his doctoral degree in logic and methodology of science from the University of California at Berkeley. An article on the topic of the colloquium is forthcoming in the publication Environmental Philosophy.
