Rowan Hosts Technology ExpoOctober 01, 2004
Rowan University will host Technology Expo 2004 -- Rowan?s recruiting event for engineering and computer science graduates -- on Tuesday, October 19, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Student Center Eynon Ballroom.
The Technology Expo will provide an opportunity for businesses to hold 20-minute interviews with prospective May 2005 graduates in computer science, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering and the M.S. in Engineering program who are interested in obtaining full-time professional positions.
Utilizing a link on the University?s website,
http://www.rowan.edu/engineering/engapps/EngCompSci/login_form.cfm, companies can choose a user name and password and register online for the Technology Expo. Qualified students will sign up for interviews online and upload their resumes. Companies will be able to view their interview schedules and their interviewees? resumes at anytime by using their user name and password to access their account.
The Technology Expo also will include a break and lunch from noon to 1 p.m. and an optional open hour from 3 to 4 p.m. during which all computer science and engineering students seeking full-time careers will be invited to talk with employers. At that time, employers may continue interviewing, meet with students who didn?t make their schedule, gather additional resumes and discuss student projects.
