Rowan University Art Gallery & Museum is now Rowan University Museum of Contemporary Art!
The new name reflects our continued growth and more clearly communicates our focus on contemporary art, our permanent collection, expanded educational programming, and service to the Rowan community and the broader South Jersey region. In doing so, it unites our two gallery locations under a single, unified identity.

Features curated selections from the permanent collection and provides a dedicated home for the historic installation.
In recognition of this milestone and Women’s History Month, the museum has partnered with High Grounds Coffee Roasters in Glassboro to create a limited-edition blend. The coffee combines Mexican beans with milk chocolate notes and Ethiopian beans with a brighter, lighter roast, using coffee as a medium for storytelling. It reflects both tradition and the women-centered themes of the museum’s collection while honoring the women farmers who harvested the beans.
