Biography

A multi–award-winning video producer and creative strategist with over a decade of experience, Ryan Barrett leads Rowan University’s visual storytelling efforts as Assistant Director of Creative & New Media. In this role, he oversees the university’s YouTube strategy, spearheads cross-platform content initiatives, and produces high-impact video and podcast content aligned with institutional priorities.

Ryan manages and mentors a team of student creatives, setting standards for video excellence while fostering professional growth. He collaborates across departments to ensure a unified brand voice and agile response to evolving communication needs.

Prior to this role, Ryan spent over six years with Rowan Athletics, specializing in multimedia production, live event coverage, and athlete communications.
