Biography

Brigid Milone advances Rowan’s research mission through strategic communication. In collaboration with the Division of Research, she supports the University-wide research community to elevate the visibility and impact of Rowan’s research enterprise as it grows as a Carnegie-classified R2 institution. Her efforts to highlight faculty achievements and foster cross-sector collaboration through targeted communications strengthen Rowan’s reputation as a hub for research and innovation.

Before joining the University Communication team, Milone worked in communication roles at Rowan’s College of Science & Mathematics and the School of Earth & Environment. She holds an M.S. in environmental engineering and science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in geology from the University of Delaware. Prior to her career in higher education, she served in technical and leadership capacities in the consulting sector and brings expertise in interdisciplinary science and its broader societal impact.
