Biography

A proud graduate of the public relations bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at Rowan, Rosie Esposito has worked at the University for 16 years. In the Office of University Communication, Rosie leads strategic initiatives, including the president’s Houshmand’s Hazardous Hot Sauce business supporting student scholarships; manages major media events; and facilitates University-wide communication projects. 

Previously, Rosie worked in Rowan’s Office of University Events, where she helped plan and execute presidential events, including groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, investitures, accreditation visits and Commencement. Rosie also served as the adviser to Rowan’s yearbook, The Image, for 13 years.

A member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP) and American Marketing Association, Rosie received the 2013 CUPRAP Rising Star Award, 2016 Rowan University Teamwork Award, 2016 PRSA Philadelphia President’s Award and the 2021 PRSA Philadelphia Anthony Fulginiti Award for Commitment to Education, among numerous other regional campaign and tactic awards for noteworthy work created and executed by the department.
