Awards and Scholarships
Thelma Rebecca Dyer Caswell and Helen Criden Cohen Award:
The award is made possible by the generous support of Bruce and Carol Caswell, who established it in honor of their mothers, Thelma Rebecca Dyer Caswell, and Helen Criden Cohen.
Two students enrolled in a Women's & Gender Studies academic program (minor or CUGS) will be selected to receive a Caswell/Cohen Award for $700 each. Preference will be given to students who are first generation college students and/or from a single parent home.
Students should submit applications through Scholarship Universe by March 1. Applications consist of a 1-2 page double-spaced essay explaining the applicants’ qualifications and the importance of the Women’s & Gender Studies program to their academic, professional, and personal paths at Rowan University.
