Both galleries are closed on election day, Thanksgiving weekend, between Christmas and New Years, and all other NJ state holidays.
Admission to gallery events are always free and open to the public.
Driving Directions and Accessibility
Rowan University Art Gallery / 301 High Street. Located on the south east side of campus in downtown Glassboro. Follow directions above, but remain on Rt. 55 until exit 48. At the end of the exit ramp make a left on to Ellis Avenue and take that 1.8 miles to the intersection of High Street and Ellis. The gallery is located on the opposite north west corner of High Street and Mick Drive.
Gallery West / Westby Hall. From the west, take 676 to Rt. 55 to exit 50A Rt. 322 E. Take rt 322 to the visitors gate located on the right in the center of campus.
The galleries are wheelchair accessible. For patrons requiring additional services please contact the Director at the listing below.
Gallery Parking and Walking Directions
VISITOR PARKING ALERT!
For event parking only, we have temporary parking waivers for parking on area streets. Please pick one up in the gallery on the day of the event at 301 W. High Street.
For daily parking, you will find free limited parking on High Street east of Ellis, behind Little Beefs and in the municipal lots off Main Street, and in the Barnes and Noble lot between Victoria Drive and Main Street. Be sure to check all parking regulation signs. Parking in the employee lot behind the gallery is open to visitors on Saturdays.
If you are visiting Rowan University Art Gallery at 301 West High Street, free public parking is available on High Street. Municipal parking areas are available off Lake Street (behind Little Beefs Deli) and near the Barnes and Noble shopping complex between New Street and Rowan Blvd.
If you are visiting Gallery West at Westby Hall please be sure to stop at the visitors gate, located on rt 322 in the center of campus. They will direct you to the free parking lot. It is a short walk from there to Westby Hall.
