Cable and IP Television Services

Television signal is available via coaxial cable in each residential unity as well as over IP-TV. Televisions that don't have a digital internal tuner that supports Clear QAM will need an external tuner.

How to connect cable television

You will need the following:

  • Cable ready television
  • Manufacturer's instructions for the television
  • A 3-10 foot coaxial cableEnlarged view of image wire

Step 1
Follow the telephone cord back to the white box mounted on the wall in your room/living. (About 1 inch above where the telephone cord is plugged into the wall box you will find the cable television coupling connection.)

Step 2
Connect one side of your cable coaxial wire to the coupling connection on the wall box connection.

Step 3
Connect the other side of the cable wire to the back of your television.

Step 4
Turn your television on.
Program your television to cable reception. (See TV manufacture's instructions)
Program your television to locate all the channels. (See TV manufacture's instructions)

(These steps can typically be accomplished through the menu button on the television remote control.)
