Erin is a writer and creative facilitator based in Asheville, North Carolina, where she serves as Founder/Executive Director of Story Parlor, the I&A School of Creativity, and co-owner of the Battery Park Book Exchange.

Her dissertation traces the constellation between personal mythology and the creative act as a means of becoming. Rooted in a reverence for story as ontology, it engages autobiographical reasoning, emotion, and redemptive storytelling to examine how memory operates psychologically and narratively, and how creativity functions as both process and perspective. Drawing from narrative theory, creative psychology, and phenomenology, the work aims to explore the tension between inherited narratives and self-authorship alongside the relational, paradoxical, and transformative nature of creative practice.
