Biography

Carie Markowitz serves as the Senior Director of Brand and Marketing Strategy at Rowan University, where she leads initiatives that strengthen the university’s brand, drive enrollment, and support institutional priorities through strategic marketing. Known for her collaborative leadership and results-driven approach, Carie works closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to bring integrated campaigns to life across digital, print, and experiential channels.

With over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, Carie brings a strong foundation in digital strategy, project management, and creative execution. Her work is rooted in a deep understanding of audience behavior and a passion for telling meaningful stories that resonate.

Outside of work, Carie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Together, they love exploring new places, and tackling home improvement projects.
