Biography

Karen is the host of Rowan On, a university podcast that takes listeners inside the work of our experts to uncover not just what they do, but why it matters. Each episode invites audiences on an experiential journey through insight and curiosity followed by a conversation with the guest.

A strategic leader understanding trends, challenges and opportunities, Karen plans and executes mission-forward initiatives to advance the University's growth, impact, and reputation. As an award-winning collaborative leader in marketing and communications for more than 25 years, Karen has led teams and major projects for higher education, government and corporate Fortune 500 clients, globally.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Drexel University and a Master of Arts in Writing from Rowan University.

For more than 15 years at Rowan, her focus has been to promote compelling stories, marketing and communications across all campuses, colleges, schools and departments. Karen's leadership and work have helped teams produce award winning campaigns, websites, videos, magazines and books. With proven success and an objective, holistic perspective, she offers effective strategies to advance initiatives.
