Frank Troiani
Associate Director, Web Services
Biography
Frank currently serves as Associate Director of Web Services. In his 20+ years as a Rowan Employee, he's done everything from operating the bells in Bunce Hall's cupola during Commencement to reverse engineering the built-in Banner Freshman Registration process to build a custom Python + PL/SQL web application that gave the Registrar the ability to bulk register and load balance freshman across a custom range of courses and times.
While he's worked often as a front-end and back-end developer in his 25+ years building professional websites, lately his primary focus has been supporting rowan.edu's and Cascade CMS's server infrastructure. This requires him to spend much of his time staring at terminal screens - something he finds enjoyable!
Other things Frank finds joy in include, but are not limited to:
- Being a husband to his wife Rachel.
- Making his daughter Clementine (Clemmie® 8/24) laugh.
- Regular Expression crossword puzzles.
- Camping, specifically chopping wood, building fires and tying knots.
- Building custom, electric-powered boats.
