Phil Anastasia
Professor Anastasia has taught at Rowan since 2004 and teaches magazine article writing and sports journalism. He has been a sports writer in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area since 1980, as well as a beat writer for the Philadelphia Eagles and sports columnist for the Courier-Post. Currently, he is a sports columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
 
Tara Askin
Professor Askin teaches Publication Layout and Design. She is a Senior Graphic Designer at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ and holds a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Rowan University. Her background also includes over a decade of experience working in the journalism industry as a graphic designer at the Courier-Post Newspaper and Adjunct Professor teaching print, web, interactive and multimedia design. In addition to working and teaching design, Askin also leads freelance projects creating customized work for clients.  Professor Askin enjoys helping students develop their sense of creativity while teaching them to successfully apply their skills using the latest technologies in today’s professional environment.

Ed Benkin
Professor Benkin has been reporting sports for KYW Newsradio since April 2004, but he’s long been a familiar face in the KYW newsroom and around the Delaware Valley. He worked as a sports announcer for Princeton University from 1995 to 2013, doing play-by-play during their football games and often for hockey, lacrosse, and basketball games as well. He has filled for Temple University’s football basketball broadcasts. Benkin was ESPN Radio’s Philadelphia correspondent for a number of years, and also anchored their “Sports Center” program on radio.  Besides his sports reporting duties at KYW Newsradio, Benkin also does updates for 94 WIP.
 
Matthew Enuco
Professor Enuco teaches Digital Journalism and Journalistic Writing. He has won several awards from the New Jersey Press Association in many categories from News Writing to Health and Science Features. He is a graduate of Rowan University and former professional baseball player in the Chicago White Sox organization. His background in baseball led to blogging, podcasting and radio gigs in Chicago. Professor Enuco earned a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in English and Creative Writing in 2012.
 
Jerrold Haught
Professor Haught is the Regional News Director for the Courier Post and The Daily Journal, part of the USA Today Network. A Rowan University graduate, he has a background in business reporting and section editing and has been a journalist since 2001. He joined Rowan as an adjunct in 2006 and teaches news reporting courses.​

Tim Hawk
Professor Hawk is a multimedia specialist for NJ Advance Media. His photos and videos regularly appear in The South Jersey Times and NJ.com. He teaches Photojournalism.

Kristine Houck
Professor Houck is an editorial director for Healio. She works on newspapers, magazines and a daily news website for physicians and other healthcare professionals. She is also certified as an Editor in the Life Sciences. She teaches Publication Layout and Design.
 
Derek Jones
Professor Jones is the Station Manager at WGLS Rowan Radio and the radio voice of multiple Rowan University sports. He has made appearances on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and ESPN 3. He teaches Sports Broadcasting courses.
 
Christina Lynn
Professor Lynn earned an undergraduate degree in journalism and political science from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in public relations from Rowan University. She teaches Publication Layout and Design and has previously taught Journalistic Writing, The Publishing Industry and Advanced Publication Layout and Design. She works for Rowan’s Enrollment Management & Marketing team as a Digital Content Strategist.

Morgan Spade
Professor Spade earned an M.A. in public relations from Rowan University in 2003. She currently teaches Publication Layout and Design and Advanced Publication Layout and Design. Her expertise includes design and corporate branding, special event planning and social media promotion. She serves as Marketing Manager at Reinvestment Fund, a national nonprofit financial institution headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, she is Executive Producer of No Smile for Frank Productions, an independent film company with several award-winning short films.   

Robert Tulini
Professor Tulini has an M.A. degree in mass media and communication from Temple University and a B.A. degree in communications from Fordham University. He is a former editor at the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, NJ. He has also worked in the newsroom of the South Jersey Bureau of The Philadelphia Inquirer and WCZN-AM in Aston, PA. He teaches a variety of journalism courses.

Deb Woodell
Professor Woodell has been an adjunct professor at Rowan since 1999. She is a Glassboro State College graduate and has been a journalist for more than 40 years. She recently retired from the Philadelphia Daily News and Inquirer, where she worked on the sports copy desk for nearly 30 years as a copy editor, page designer and web content producer. She also edited content and laid out the editorial pages for the Daily News' editorial section. Woodell teaches Copy Editing.
