Photography
Photography is an ever expanding medium that encompasses all artistic representations of the world with the aid of a camera. The photography program at Rowan stresses the development of a unique voice that is in conversation with contemporary art and society. The curriculum emphasizes individual artistic development while integrating theory, experimentation, critique and professional preparedness. It is designed to offer an aesthetic, technical, critical, and practical understanding of photography and its myriad applications, including marketable production knowledge and techniques.
Academic Offerings:
- Bachelor of Arts Concentration in Photography in the department of Radio, TV & Film
- Minor in Photography - open to students of any major
Contact & Advising Information: For inquiries about photography or to register for the minor/concentration, please contact Associate Professor Jenny Drumgoole - drumgoole@rowan.edu or department advisor Gina Gondos - gondos@rowan.edu
