Stephanie Ibe graduated in Spring 2020 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, a French Minor, and Concentrations in Honors and Pre-Med. She was accepted by the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) to teach English during the 2020/2021 school year with the Académie de Rouen in the region of Normandy. Her duties included such activities as designing and teaching English conversation classes, tutoring students, and providing presentations on American culture. Read all about her experiences here!

Melissa McGlynn, a 2019 Business graduate and a student in Rowan's German program, was recently hired as a Teaching Assistant for 2019-2020 at the prestigious Hermann-Lietz School in the German State of Thuringia. Melissa will work at the 100-year-old school as a tutor and teacher and will help to prepare students for their graduation exams.

Justine Lorenz, a Fall 2017 Rowan University graduate with a German Studies Minor and an Early Childhood Education Major, was awarded a 2018-2019 Fulbright Teacher’s Assistant Scholarship to Germany. She is pictured below, wearing a red scarf and standing to the left of Angela Merkel, Germany's Chancellor, at a January 28 Fulbright event that honored the Chancellor.

The 2015 College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) Commencement Speaker, Ashley Abdullah (Spanish Major alumna, class of '06), was honored with a Medal of Excellence in recognition of her professional achievements. Abdullah is Associate Manager for Media Planning Multiplatform Strategy for the Univision Network in Miami.
