MAPIS2026 "Know Before You Go"

Here are some key things to know before attending MAPIS2026:

IMPORTANT! If you can NO LONGER attend:

  • If you can no longer attend MAPIS2026, please email us at RIPPAC@rowan.edu immediately.
  • With 180 registrants, MAPIS2026 is at max capacity.
  • We have a growing waiting list of other interns who are ready to take your spot.

Dress Code: 

  • The dress code for MAPIS2026 is business casual; as if you were working on a Friday in a large law firm. 
  • Please: no jeans, shorts, T-shirts, short-sleeve knit shirts, or sneakers.
  • Dress comfortably, but professionally.
  • Please be sure to check the weather for the day, as we will not be able to provide rain gear!

Location: 

  • MAPIS2026 will take place in the Chamberlain Student Center, on the campus of Rowan University, located at 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
  • Please refer to this marked-up campus map noting the Student Center's location. 

Driving Directions:

  • If you are unsure of how to get to Rowan University's Glassboro campus, please refer to our driving directions page. 

Parking: 

  • All attendees are required to park in Lot F. This lot is adjacent to the railroad tracks on Rt. 322.  
  • If you are using Google Maps, search for: “Triad Apartments”
  • Parking is free. You should have received a parking pass in your email. Please print it and leave it on your dashboard for the duration of the conference. If you have not received the pass, please email RIPPAC@rowan.edu ASAP. 
  • Lot F is a brisk, 8-minute walk to the Chamberlain Student Center. There will be signage to direct you.
  • Please refer to this marked-up campus map for further directions to reach the Student Center from Lot F. 

Checking In:

  • Once you enter the Chamberlain Student Center, please go to the 2nd floor and pick up your credentials at the registration desk.

Arrival Time: 

  • Registration opens at 8:15 am. Please try to check in as early as possible. 
  • The full program begins at 9:00 am.
  • Arriving early gives you time to check in, network with each other, and have your free professional headshot taken. There will be coffee, water, bagels and light pastries available for breakfast.

Departure Time:

  • We are asking you to stay for the entire conference. It will end at 3:30 pm. 
    • This is important, as it is the professional and courteous thing to do. We trust that you will act accordingly. 
  • As an additional incentive, the ice cream truck will be available to all MAPIS2026 attendees who stay to the end.

Social Media:

  • Be sure to follow us – @RowanIPPC – on Instagram. This will allow you to access additional info about the conference.
  • You are strongly encouraged to post on Instagram and other social media throughout the day. Tag us!

Professional Decorum and Respect:

  • All MAPIS2026 attendees are expected to behave with proper, professional decorum and respect for the speakers, fellow attendees, and MAPIS staff.
  • Failure to adhere to this standard may result in your removal from the conference.
