The Sweeney Center for Public Policy entered the ongoing policy debate over artificial intelligence with an April 15, 2025, conference on "Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges for New Jersey Government, Business and Education." The conference featured four members of New Jersey's Artificial Intelligence Task Force — NJ Economic Development Authority CEO Tim Sullivan, NJ Chief Information Officer Dave Cole, NJ Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner Rob Asaro-Angelo and Princeton University Professor Arvind Narayna — which issued its report the previous spring.
