- Can I double major in art/music/theatre/dance?

- The first step for any student interested in pursuing a major in art/music/theatre/dance is the audition/portfolio review. If you are interested in any of our degree programs, it is best to sign up for an audition/submit your portfolio ASAP. Pending audition results, our advisors can assist further. - How can I add a minor in art/music/theatre/dance?

- The Minor in Art or Art History is open to any interested Rowan student. Please contact the Academic Advisor for Art to discuss adding an Art Minor.
- To request an audition for a Minor in Music, email music@rowan.edu. The music minor takes a minimum of 2 years to complete.
- Students interested in adding a Minor in Dance should begin by taking “Elements of Dance,” which will serve as their audition. Upon completion, students can then request to be recommended for the minor.
- Students interested in adding a Minor in Theatre should begin by taking “Experiencing Acting,” which will serve as their audition. Upon completion, students can then request to be recommended for the minor.
- I am an art/music/theatre/dance minor but I don’t see any classes on my schedule.

- If you are a first-year student, that’s okay! Typically, Minor classes would be added to your schedule after completing your first semester. It’s best to check in with your advisor to make sure.

- There are plenty of student-run clubs and organizations out of the College of the Arts, open to all students. Visit Clubs and Organizations for a full list or search via ProfLink.

- If you’re interested in taking music lessons, our Community Music School offers individual lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. Email rowancommunitymusicschool@rowan.edu or visit rowan.edu/community-music-school/ for more information!
