Biography

Kiran Grace-Duff (they/them) has been exploring the fabric of stories and the process of making for over thirty years. Their skills have been honed in classes and universities, earning their BS in Fashion Design from Drexel University and MFA in Costume Design and Technology from Temple University. Kiran has worked for William Ivey Long (NY), Jennifer Love Costumes (NY), Barter Theater (VA), Centerstage (MD), Mass MoCA (MA), and Swine Palace (LA). Within the Philadelphia region, they have worked with The Barnes Foundation, The Fabric Workshop and Museum, EgoPo Productions, Azuka Theater, Dawn Marie Bazemore's #dbdanceproject, Maukingbird Theater, the 43rd Regiment of Foot, and many others as a technician, collaborator, or costume designer. Kiran's passion for teaching was discovered while working for Dean Adventure Camp (formerly The Handwork Studio). Outside of Rowan, Kiran is a proud nerd engaging in Table-top Role playing games and Board Games at home with their teenager and two cats.
