Biography
Kathleen Mayes is a well-known Southern New Jersey performer and teacher of Classical Guitar and Renaissance Lute. She holds degrees from Rowan University and Drexel University and studied with well-known Segovia disciple Larry Snitzler of George Mason University and Julian Gray of Peabody Conservatory. Along with being an active soloist, Ms. Mayes regularly performs concerts and lectures as duo partner with Joseph Mayes on Renaissance instruments, 19th Century Guitars, and modern Classical Guitars. Ms. Mayes has recorded a solo CD "Music from the Bistro" and 3 Duo CD's with Joseph Mayes: "The Schoole of Musicke", "Romance", and "Sketches for 2".College of the Arts
