The Rowan University Collegium Musicum is a mixed chamber music experience for students interested in the performance of early music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and early Baroque periods. Collegium has a membership of 6 to 23 singers, players, and dancers, featuring a wide palate of early music colors: strings; voices; recorders; crumhorns; hurdy gurdy; harp; cornetto; harpsichord/ virginal; psaltery; and a battery of percussion. Membership is by audition only. Study and performance of various early works will constitute much of the semester, concluding with a series of public concerts.
