Biography

Allyson Jean Malandra is a professional actor and Certified Assistant Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® from Bucks County, PA. She received her BFA in Music Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, and her MFA in Acting from The University of Iowa. Previous teaching credits include voice and speech at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and The Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York City. Professional acting credits include regional theatre at Florida Studio Theatre; national and regional commercials for Blue Buffalo, Bose / NFL, and Visit Valley Forge; voiceover commercial work for Edward Jones, Five Below, and Casper; plus TV and Film credits, including "Hayride To Hell" and "Triumph's Summer Election Special". Allyson is extremely interested in helping her students find the freedom and focus to uncover their own authentic voices. When Allyson is not auditioning or teaching, she is trying to keep up with her two young and busy kiddos, eating delicious food from her loving husband, or playing ball with her rambunctious pup.
