Thomas Murray earned his Masters in Fine Arts degree at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 2004. He has received numerous awards such as the Florida Artists Fellowship and several awards of distinction.

Thomas is continuing his research with painting, sound, and installation, completing residencies in Assisi Italy at "Artestudio Ginestrella" and, most recently, "Arquetopia" in Puebla Mexico.
