TBES Admissions FAQ
The admissions process can be daunting. To help you get the answers you need, we have compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions.
If you have additional questions that are not answered below, please contact us. We are excited to hear from you and look forward to helping you make the best decisions for your future.
Once you submit your application to Rowan-Virtua TBES, you can log into your application status portal at any time to review the status of your application.
If you have not yet applied, but are starting to send items such as test scores or transcripts, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible. The process of tracking and confirming if we have received documents is seamless with a submitted application.

No, we cannot accept faxed transcripts or letters of recommendation. All transcripts must be official and therefore sent directly from the issuing institution. Some schools participate in electronic submission of official transcripts which can be sent to electronic-transcripts@rowan.edu directly from the issuing school. Letters of recommendation can be submitted through the application status portal.
Yes, students with credentials from a foreign institution must have that credential evaluated by a NACES-approved evaluating agency at the time of application. Evaluation must indicate that the student has earned the equivalent of at least a U.S. Bachelor’s degree. Visit the NACES site for more information.
No, there is no on-campus housing. However, there are many affordable apartment complexes within walking distance. Please view the SOM off-campus housing page for additional information.
International students are eligible to apply for any TBES program. However, a student visa cannot be issued for any certificate or distance learning programs.
