Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are payable at the time of registration. They are subject to change and may be changed without notice. Graduate Tuition is charged per credit for all students, matriculated and non-matriculated, that are not doctoral students.

PhD Student Tuition

PhD students can expect to receive a stipend of $34,000 per year, tuition remission, and paid health insurance.

Residency, for tuition purposes, is established at the time of admission.

Matriculated students must have health insurance coverage, either through the University plan or with a private carrier. Upon matriculation, students will have access to waive University provided health insurance if they are already insured.

Tuition and Fees Policy

Tuition and fees for each semester are payable in advance.

Please note: quick admit/non-matriculated students are charged the Master's rate per credit based on place of residence. All quick admit students are expected to pay their tuition and fees in FULL at the time of registration.

Tuition Installment Plan

Matriculated students may make arrangements with the Bursar’s Office 856-256-4150 or bursar@rowan.edu to enroll in an installment payment plan.

Current and incoming students - you can visit the Rowan University Bursar's website to access your tuition bills and inquire about payments, third-party agreements, past due accounts/collections, payment plans and refunds.
