Admissions Process

There are a limited number of seats available for each incoming cohort, making admissions into Rowan-Virtua TBES a competitive process. During the admissions process, we consider more than just your academic achievements; you are also evaluated on recommendations from your former professors, your personal statement, and other experiences you may have. This comprehensive process allows us to learn about you thoroughly and assess your ability to succeed at the graduate level.

  • baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • All applicants should have completed college courses in:
    • Biology, biochemistry, physics, general chemistry and organic chemistry.
  • It is highly recommended applicants have completed courses in:
    • Calculus, molecular biology and cell biology.
  • For the Histopathology program:
    • Required completed courses - cell biology and general chemistry.
    • Highly recommended courses - anatomy and physiology.
    • Useful courses - organic chemistry, microbiology, immunology and histology.

Application Deadlines

All application items must be received by the deadline indicated below for consideration. All deadlines are for Fall admissions unless otherwise indicated.
