Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience

The Master of Science in Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience (MCBN) is a rigorous program that establishes a foundation in biomedical science. In this program, you will explore the principles of cell biology, molecular biology and neuroscience and develop practical problem-solving skills. To complete the degree, you will be required to actively participate in research and prepare a research-based thesis. We also offer an accelerated degree pathway in partnership with the College of Science and Mathematics of Rowan University.

This program is designed to seamlessly transition to the PhD program if you choose to continue toward the PhD degree. If you are interested in conducting biomedical science research in a cell biology, molecular biology and/or neuroscience laboratory this program provides a foundational stepping stone.
