Master of Translational Orthopedic Device Engineering
The Master of Translational Orthopedic Device Engineering (MTODE) is a 30-credit graduate program delivered online through live interactive instruction, synchronous modules and applied research. The curriculum integrates musculoskeletal biomechanics, orthopedic biomaterials, device design, clinical applications, applied research, orthopedic device technology transfer, and clinical immersion. The program is designed to accommodate working professionals and distance learners while maintaining rigorous graduate-level preparation in orthopedic device engineering.

Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Fall 2026 cohort, prospective students are required to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree: Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. MTODE applicants must have completed Calculus I, II & III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra prior to enrollment.
- Academic Transcripts: Submission of official transcripts demonstrating a strong academic record, including relevant coursework in engineering and sciences.
- Letters of Recommendation: A minimum of two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the applicant's academic and/or professional qualifications.
- Statement of Purpose: A well-crafted statement of purpose outlining the applicant's academic and career goals in translational orthopedic device engineering.
- Resume/CV: Submission of a current resume or curriculum vitae detailing relevant work experience and research projects.
- GRE Scores: While not required, competitive GRE scores may enhance an applicant's profile.
